With final attendance figures at just 10% down, the show finished on an upbeat note with the busiest last weekend anyone can remember since the show opened at Excel in 2003. The weather reports made certain everyone stayed at home at the beginning of the week but the ‘die-hards' still attended and there were plenty of Barton enquiries at our booth on the Navimo stand.

It was great to have visits from foreign based yacht owners looking to update their deck hardware and from UK based cruising and club racing sailors. Mailspeed, Jimmy Green and TCS reported strong sales of Barton equipment and seemed overall pretty pleased with sales.

Barton equipment featured on a number of new yachts including the entire Cornish Crabber range, the cute British Hunter H 20 Sport lf and Swallow Boats BayCruiser.
