2012 News From Barton Marine ..

The Paris International Boat Show runs from December 8th to the 16th.

Barton Marine will be attending the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show early next year, commencing on January 12th.

Sales Manager Christian Brewer has been busy helping prepare Stuart Jardine’s XOD Lonestar for Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week this month.

A total of 27 boats took part in the 2012 Wednesday Evening Open Series hosted by Medway Yacht Club and sponsored by Barton Marine.

The Sonata National Championships was a tightly fought battle this year. 23 boats lined up at the start line on the Medway in bright sunshine and a good sea breeze.

Another boat fitted with Barton fittings is Stevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes double-handed men's Skiff, a 49er class boat. Stevie has fitted 16 of our very smallest High Load Eyes (part number 60450) on board.

Latest news from Barton customers John and Alex is that their Hallberg Rassy ‘Free Spirit' is now safely ashore in Grenada for the duration of the hurricane season.

Skippers Alasdair Flint and Tim Loftus recently received the prestigious Tilman medal from the Royal Cruising Club in recognition of their extreme 2011 Arctic expedition, in which they sailed to the Beerenberg volcano on Jan Mayen.

Sailors Pip Hare and Christa Ten Brinke are near to completing the double handed Solent 650 Mini Transat Race, an event part sponsored by Barton Marine.

We are delighted to announce that a French version of our award-winning, interactive website is now live.

Visit one of our top retailers Jimmy Green Marine (stand D10) at the RYA Volvo Dinghy Show, at Alexandra Palace in London on March 3rd and 4th. There’ll be many of the UK’s dinghy and catamaran boat classes for you to see in addition to training and practical workshops.

German distributor, Robert Lindemann KG will be displaying Barton products in Hall 12, stand A18 at this year’s boot Düsseldorf. Robert Lindemann has been a major distributor of marine equipment in Germany since the early 1930s and is a long term partner of Barton Marine.
