Barton Marine enjoyed a successful METS show, meeting with Distributors, Dealers and Boat Builders from around the world. Very positive feedback was received for our range of new pillar fairleads, winch handle pocket and new Carbon Tiller Extensions, launched for the very first time at METS.

We were pleased to sign up two new Distributors at the show, ensuring continuation of supply in these important markets. Dismarina, established in 1998 and based just north of Barcelona, specialises in deck hardware and sailmaker supplies. Sales Manager Joan Llobera has 25 years of experience selling our range through his previous role with the former Plastimo Spain.

Forniture Nautiche Italiane founded in 1983 by the Montanari family, specialises in Marine deck hardware and ropes and is based in Ceccina Tuscany. Sales Manager Fabio Farina is very familiar with Barton Marine products having supplied them previously through Plastimo.

Paul Botterill celebrated his appointment as Managing Director of Barton Marine at the Barton reception held on Tuesday evening at the Show. Many friends in the industry raised a glass with a toast given by Bernd Wegner Sales Manager of Robert Lindemann, one of our longest serving Distributors.
