NEW BARTON FURLER
Barton Marine announced an upgrade to the furling drum range at the METS trade fair in November. The new Furler is now in production and available to purchase through our network of Distributors and Dealers globally.
LONDON AND DUSSELDORF BOAT SHOW ROUND UP 2016
The London Boat Show appears to have turned the corner, now attracting 90,000 visitors with lots of interest in the Mediterranean boating pool and the classic yacht feature with Peter Methven’s Altricia on display, fully kitted out with Barton deck hardware.
INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW SEASON!
The Boat Show season continues this month with shows in Sweden, Finland and Holland.
SPINDRIFT RACING TO TRIAL BARTON DECK PADS
Spindrift Racing, based in Saint Philibert near La Trinite sur Mer in Brittany, are currently trialling the new Barton Kevlar and Carbon fibre protection pads. Led by two exceptional skippers, Dona Bertarelli and Yann Guichard, Spindrift Racing has excelled since their creation in 2011 thanks to its five multihulls tailored for racing.

Barton Marine was pleased to support the Royal Burnham Yacht Club Cadet Week this year, which saw over 70 new and returning Cadets make their mark on the water during races and sailing challenges in August.

MEDWAY EVENING SERIES
Musical Express retains Barton Keelboat Trophy at Medway YC Wednesday evening series. With 2 bullets in the last 2 races Musical Express, a Hunter Sonata helmed by Mike Harrison and extensively fitted out with Barton products won the trophy for the second year running. The boat has been crewed during the series by Bartons M D Paul Botterill and they were joined for the last race by Paul's son Liam.
CLASSIC COWES WEEK
Barton Sales Manager competed at this years Classic Cowes Week with regular helm Stuart Jardine and son Robbie aboard his Barton equipped X One Design Lonestar. This regatta has grown from strength to strength over the last 7 years and now boasts a larger fleet than the traditional Cowes Week held in August.
CALLING ALL CLASS ASSOCIATIONS: DECK LAYOUTS
Barton Marine follow a number of Class Associations on their forums which is a good way to monitor new and old ways of getting the best out of your class of boat and to offer helpful sailing advice associated with deck hardware.

Our example is a Westerly Centaur built in the 1970s, typically the mast control lines were lead to mast mounted winches and cleats which involved going up on deck to make adjustments.

Barton Marine will be attending Seawork, Europe’s largest International commercial marine and workboat show for the first time. This three day event starts on June 16th in Southampton Docks and brings together 600 exhibitors and 7,500 visitors.
