This is my first full month at Barton Marine and already it feels like home. It has been a very busy couple of weeks with joint visits with two of our Marathon reps and a number of key customers. I am finally in the office and can take a breath before it all kicks off next week.

We are pleased to welcome Bernd Wegner from Lindemann, our German distributor arriving for a visit, and we look forward to him providing his update of the marine market in Europe.  On 1 June, Barton’s Sales Coordinator, Hazel Morris and I will be sailing in the British Sailing yacht for the Marine Industry Regatta in Port Solent – so I will have lots to report in next month’s edition. I plan to be in direct contact with all my customers over the next few months. We’ll be launching a few new Barton products soon - there’s lots in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled for news in the near future.
