Well it’s been quite some month with the Marine Industry Regatta and saving Hazel from swimming around in the Solent, to the visit from Bernd Wegner from Lindemann, our German distributor. We had our blue and gold European flag waving in the factory forecourt when he arrived which amused Bernd who said most of the flags he had seen in the UK were supporting Brexit! But not at Barton Marine!
We are excited about our new R&D projects including some new industrial high load snatch blocks and our new splicing tool. We also have the first quality approval on our wooden cheek sides for the Victory Range of classic wooden blocks. Now production can begin allowing us to get our wooden classics out to the market place next month.
Barton’s CEO Suzanne Blaustone and I are visiting Seawork International Show in Southampton this month to meet with customers and suppliers in the commercial marine markets. We will be sporting our tracking systems which can be used for sliding roofs, man-overboard systems or deck sliders, our industrial blocks, our new heavy duty hatch range and Swobbit’s plastic cleaner, polisher, and protector - Vuplex.
