Joining the firm with extensive experience of project management and strategic planning spanning nearly 30 years, Simon has worked in both the private and public sectors, and has managed businesses at local and national levels. He has a proven track record for analysing, formulating and implementing plans for improved relationships and processes, and his new role will see him align these functions to improve the customer experience. He will be working with Barton’s customers to understand their needs and requirements, provide rapid customer response programs and developing effective working partnerships and strategies to strengthen business growth.
Simon joined Barton Marine’s team at METSTRADE and was excited to meet with the company’s current and potential clients at the show. Simon is a keen and competitive sailor and has won events at both National and World Championship level, including being part of the British Olympic squad in Barcelona, Spain in the early 1990s. His passion for sailing has led Simon to be involved with promoting the world famous, Exocet International Moth, considered by many to be the best of British innovation and design.
