Come and celebrate 50 years of Southampton Boat Show! We are proud to have our Barton Team attending the Show and supporting our chandlers, riggers and boat builders who are exhibiting.
We’ll be showcasing our new Barton Block Range of products on the You Boat stand B006 and the Jimmy Green Marine stand J338.
You can see the new Balpha Mast and Barton Marine’s innovative rigging programme in action docked at M266. Stuart Balfour, owner and designer of Balpha Masts and Simon Reynolds, Sales and Business Development Manager at Barton Marine are keen to show the new foldable mast system for yachts.
The Balpha Mast design is proving to be of global interest for those needing to lower and raise their mast for low bridges or for transporting boats on trailers. The new rigging programme allows the carbon fibre Balpha Mast to be lowered and raised while cruising. It’s easy and safe to fold and employs the use of a Boomstrut to hold the boom securely in place.
Hardware has been specified by Barton Marine for the complete rigging system, allowing the Balpha Mast to be installed on multiple size yachts up to 8.5 meters. Key to the Balpha Mast program is the stainless steel Mast Housing which can be adapted for use with the Barton Boomstruts which safely control the boom under sail.
Barton Marine is proud to sponsor British Marine’s Women in Marine Industry drinks reception - the perfect networking opportunity. Taking place in the Membership Lounge on Tuesday 18 September from 5 to 6:30pm, Barton Marine is sponsoring the event and is pleased to welcome speakers Lesley Robinson, the new Chief Executive of British Marine, Nicky Goldsbrough – Women in Maritime Taskforce and Lucy Gross, General Manager, Association of Sail Training Organisations.
