Barton will unveil the new Barton Block range exclusively at METSTRADE 2017 next month, from stand 01.478. Combining high performance engineering and contemporary design, the new range of blocks have been designed for mariners who appreciate sleek styling and demand technical excellence.
Crafted by sailors for sailors, the new range of equipment is manufactured in our own UK factory and will be available in Series 0 through Series 7, inclusive. Barton is customer led, so our new line of blocks was developed to meet sailing demands for style, endurance and performance. The racy new format exhibits a richer darker slate exterior with grey sheaves and internal stainless steel infrastructure providing the strength and durability our customers require. The line has greater performance qualities even though it’s smaller in size and lighter in weight – providing the bullet-proof reliability that Barton has built its reputation on over the last 80 years.
Barton’s introduction of classic wooden blocks, the Victory Range, has also been expanded to include doubles and triples with an array of heads and shackles to meet the needs of classic sailing yachts up to 47 feet. This robust wooden block range is designed in ash wood, has plain or ball bearing sheaves, and exhibits a removable fastening bolt for servicing or re-varnishing.
