Barton Marine’s new design furler makes controlling the jib a breeze, thanks to its improved performance and design features.
Made of fibre glass filled nylon giving it strength and rigidity, the furler is available in two sizes to cater for sails up to six square meters or ten square meters. Compact and lightweight, the furler’s design includes a new three-point line retaining feature to help keep the line on the drum for smooth and snag-free running. There is also a multi-position option for the furling line exit, which provides more flexibility for boaters to set the line at the right exit angle from the drum to reduce wear and chafing and ensure quick and snag-free furling.
The furler is easy to self-fit onto dinghies, dayboats and small cruising yachts. The line attachment is invisible to see and with the knot hidden inside the drum, preventing any chance of it catching, wearing or working undone.
The products are available from Barton Marine’s global network of distributors and chandleries.
