The new Barton Ratchet Block is designed to be used on mainsheet systems and spinnaker sheets on dinghies and keelboats, and for small yachts up to 30 feet. Combining high performance engineering and contemporary design, the 55mm ratchet block is the first in a planned range of sizes, it also offers a stainless steel lever that locks the swivel head if desired. The new Ratchet Block allows sailors to easily hand hold loaded lines and offer balance between holding power and controlled easing. Designed for low friction and longevity in harsh marine environments, the Ratchet Block body is manufactured from a composite of high density nylon and glass fiber reinforced polymer with a high level of UV protection. Internal components are of marine grade 316 stainless steel and the 12 faced aluminium sheave is anodised in gunmetal silver.

The new Removable Mainsheet Track System, which is ideally suited for all yachts up to 11.0m (36ft). This adaptable mainsheet track system is designed to span between the cockpit seats when sailing but is easily removable to ensure cockpit space is not compromised when you want to relax on board. The removable track system is available in 2 sizes and can be used on yachts up to a maximum of 11.0m (36ft). The track has a maximum unsupported length of up to 700mm (28in). It can be attached and removed in seconds and uses Barton's beam section track. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Fitting Barton Marine's new removable track couldn't be simpler, End plates are bolted either side of the cockpit, on the cockpit wall, the track is then slid under these plates and lifted vertically, which automatically locks it in position. To remove the mainsheet track, you just push in the locking pin on either side, lower the track and slide it out of the way. |

An established favourite with Sailors around the globe, Barton 'T' Track Genoa cars are compatible with all types of 'T' Track. The advantage of a line adjust system is that the crew do not have to leave the safety of the cockpit to obtain perfect trim when reefing the headsail.
We have developed our current design and have incorporate control line sheaves within the body of the sliders and end fittings. The result is a more compact unit with less likelihood of sheet fouling, plus they look great too! The towable 'T' Track Genoa car system is available in three sizes for yachts from 6m –12m (18'–40'), this includes 20mm 'T' Track, 25mm 'T' Track and 32mm 'T' Track (both standard & heavy duty options). We have kept the same part numbers as the existing range of towable Genoa cars and towable end fittings, these are as follows:
